As you can hear, the places hold significance for people in many different ways. For some, their place brings them calm, for others their place has political significance in shaping the city. Some places hold a “there-ness” that just is.
It could be that something significant, perhaps even something significantly difficult happened at that place. Or perhaps you just like it and go there often.
